Hello! I am a high school physics teacher in Southern California. I have nearly 20 years experience in teaching physics at all levels in high school. Currently, I teach AP Physics C, Calculus-based Honors Physics AB, and algebra-based Physics AB. I teach a total of six classes to about 180 juniors and seniors. I also administer an independent study course in astronomy, and, in the past, I have taught Integrated Coordinated Science and Earth science courses.
I hold a Professional Clear Single Subject Credential in Physics, and I have been a National Board Certified Teacher since 2000. I attained National Board Certification in my first year of eligibility, and I renewed my certification in 2010. I am also the recipient of the 2008 Petrick Award for Teaching Excellence.
